I have just managed to look at my holiday photos today from October. I've attached a few of the strange skies we encountered every night. Every night we were there we had terrific storms.

Holidays are Coming
Silver Linings Playbook
Last night I got to watch this movie. One word to describe it - beautiful. When the film started I wasn't sure what it was all about.
However by the end I was hooked. It is a beautiful romantic story. The stuff dreams are made off.
it will definitely be on the DVD list when it's released.

Five senses
Responding to Elease's blog about the five senses got me thinking. So here goes.
Touch - My New Memory Foam Pillow. God I'm in love with it. I'm not sure they are everyone's cup of tea but when my tired and weary head hits it late at night I don't want to ever leave it again. Such bliss and I sleep so well
Smell - fresh air. As winter is just around the corner, making to most of the weather whilst it is dry is a must. Nothing helps your overall well being than being outside. So after dinner I try and make the effort to wrap up and take a coffee down the garden and sit in our new seating area just for half an hour. I feel more refreshed to then tackle the next round of jobs.
Taste - M & M's peanut. Addicted is an understatement. I have to be careful especially if I'm at work and a little bored and needing a sugar boast as I could eat a whole bag in one go. Is that so bad?
See - my parents. They have been away for a fortnight on holiday and I collected them from the airport last night. It was so good to see them. Lots of catching up to be done
Hear - oh how I'd love to have perfect hearing again but unfortunately I am plagued by tinnitus. Constant ringing in my ears. Not great and incredibly frustrating.

Getting older
This evening Natasha came home from school and announced part of her history homework was to write ten timeline facts on an older person.
Assuming she would want to do someone in maybe their 60's or even older, she turned to me and said she wanted to do me!
I said, but honey I'm not exactly older, she replied you are, you are over 25!
I haven't even reached 40 yet and already I feel over the hill and in her eyes I am probably well on the way. Thanks sweetheart.
Oh and by the way ten facts isn't as easy as you'd think.

Photography
Last night saw the return of my photography lesson. I have 11 classes to take.
The first class is always to strangest, getting use to new people who are joining.
The class though is now full of middle age chaps who unfortunately believe they know everything (they probably do) so I feel very inadequate. I know I have a talent so I have to dig deep and put emotions to one side and remember I am there for my gain and no one else's and their opinions don't come into it unless they are welcomed and invite.

Autumn
It's on it's way.
I feel we have to say goodbye to a summer we haven't even had. The weather has been shocking, rain mostly every day through the summer months. I almost feel cheated. Surely we deserve a lovely warm, dry and sunny period.
After all it was summer.

Sutton on Sea 9th September 2012
Sunday was going to be an exceptional hot day for this time of the year so we packed the car up, picked Janice and Steve up and headed to the coast.
So glad we did.

The Great British Bake Off
I'm addicted to this programme at the moment.
Its all about 15 amateur bakers set two tasks each week through the programme,
all centred around baking.
These people are fantastic bakers, making anything from
bread to cakes to tarts.
Can't wait till next week's show
Before school
Last two days of summer
Sunday we spent at the each in Wells.
We left home at 7am and arrived at 9am so a really good journey.
We met Janice and Steve there who are on holiday and spent the day on the beach.
It started a little cold!!!
But by lunchtime we were in short sleeves and enjoying the warm sunshine.
Kimberley, Richard and the boys joined us after lunch.
We left around 6pm and stopped off in Hunstanton for traditional fish and chips, arriving home at 10.15pm
Great day had by all

Why oh why can't I buy these products here in the UK.
Looking at their website it has a fantastic selection that I'd love to try especially the sunscreen. Oh well I'll just have to keep looking and see if I can purchase it - somewhere.
Come on Neutrogena sort it out for me

Growing up
London 2012
The London Olympics have been with us for six days now and I am just so hooked. I have Five Live on in the car going to work, twitter updates whilst at work and then the tv goes on as soon as I get home. I love it and can't seem to get enough.
On top of all this Team GB are doing fantastically. From cycling to athletes and sailing I'm so proud to be British. The first picture is of Sir Chris Hoy at the Opening Ceremony. I found the second picture on FB and thought it was very true

Natasha update
Natasha attended three induction days this week at Garendon and she loved it. No real nerves. Next week is also a busy one. She is performing dance at the Curve on Monday then she has performances on Tuesday and Wednesday at school followed by a school end of year disco and then break up for summer. Exciting times for us all.
The photo below is when she received a certificate from the Grammar School for the science days she attended.

Goodwood Festival of Speed
This weekend Jonathan and I spent it down at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Thursday afternoon after the worse storms for years had passed over home we drove down to a beautiful village called Lodsworth which was to be our base till Sunday. We stay in a quaint one bed lodge/cottage which was perfect.
Friday we were up and out early, early I mean 6.30am and off to Goodwood. We saw so many fantastic cars old and new and drivers racing up the hill climb. We visited corporate stands, sat in new cars, photographed them and so on over the course of the weekend. Best of all we did it together. I've included a few snaps below.

Huge approaching storm which cause havoc in Loughborough and home.
